Live Music: Alan Jossul
Alan Jossul is a local, nationally known, solo and ensemble guitarist. As an educator, he specializes in teaching students of all ages and levels to play and enjoy string fretted instruments. If you’ve been to the museum on Canada Day, you’ll be familiar with his beautiful original compositions as well as cover songs.

Spring Kids’ Crafts
Starting on February 11th, the museum will host a Spring Kids’ Crafts every Saturday through April. Join museum Kids’ Crafts Coordinator, Hannah, as she guides young museum-goers and parents through the steps to make a craft to take home. The museum provides all materials and tools needed for the event. Watch for upcoming dates for details of our spring Kids Craft mornings!

Live Music: Jordie and Franco, Cello and Guitar
Jordie Robinson and Franco Noviello are a cello-guitarist duo who have worked together for several years. Jordan “Jordie” is a University of Victoria Graduate who has toured with poet Shane Koyczan and has taught cello for over 14 years. Franco is a songwriter who has performed over the years with a variety of bands and musical duos and is also a well-known videographer.

Spring Fling and Easter Things
On Saturday, April 1st we’re celebrating Spring and Easter in the Comox Valley with tons of activities, prizes, and more at the museum from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
We’re pleased to announce that the Barnyard Party Animals from Black Creek will be joining us, and bringing along a fun petting zoo consisting of ducklings, chicks, rabbits, hedgehogs, goats and even a tortoise. If you’re looking to spruce up your look, Cathy from Magical Faces will have a booth set up for face painting. There will also be kids crafts for your artistic side, a dinosaur egg hunt with a twist, guessing how many candies there are in jars, and door prizes.
Admission to the event will be by donation, and there will be a small fee for face painting. Come stop by and celebrate with us!
