Welcome to “A Sampler”, an exhibition of textiles and fibre arts from the Courtenay Museum collection and private collections. The pieces chosen for this exhibition reflect techniques and materials from a variety of cultures and locations around the world.
From Fijian Kapa cloth to woven Navajo blankets, from beading to lace work, all of the items in this exhibit reflect a high regard for attention to detail, visual beauty and durability for functional everyday use.
